Introduction

Since 2018, SMC has issued a “CSR Report” to disclose information concerning its social responsibility, and fulfilled its responsibility in explaining its activities continuously, while striving to maintain communications with all stakeholders.

In 2020, we launched our “SMC SDGs PROJECT” for SDGs promotion, and starting from 2021, in addition to demonstrating SMC's thinking towards sustainability based on the sustainability statement “Be a Part of Innovation”, we will conduct and report on specific activities specified in the following 4 “SMC SDGs TARGET”.

Scope of Reported Activities

Applicable to standalone activities of SMC Corporation.
Going forward, we plan to expand the applicable scope in stages, and also report on the activities of the SMC Group (SMC Corporation and group companies in Japan and overseas).
